Hello, Eric Chou was born and raised in Taiwan. He moved to Boston, USA, when he was 12 years old, and moved back to Taiwan at 18. Eric has been playing classical piano since he was a little kid because of his mom’s insistence. He fell in love with composing when he discovered his own passion for music. Let’s not be Friends in the Future ” the OST for the Taiwanese drama “The Way We Were” received high rankings on various music charts and was dubbed “Magical Healing Song” by many. This sorrowful break-up song was composed by a seventeen-year-old Eric who had been rejected by his classmate at the time; pretty hard to picture first because such a young boy had created such a deep song, and second, how could anyone reject this cutie?! Whoever that was must be crying over her loss now. Sorry for straying into a bit of unprofessional journalism writing there…I will refrain. Eric described his emotional state at the time he wrote the demo to the song, “I got the inspiration for ‘Let’s not be Friends in the Future’ from my personal experience. When I was in high school in Boston, I confessed my feelings to someone I liked for the very first time. I pretended to ask that girl who she liked, acting as if I was going to relay the confession of another guy to her frankly, but in truth I was the one that wanted to confess to her. When I finally decided on a date and dressed up to go, the girl left on the spot after I said it. That night, I played this song, and it was snowing…. Now that I look back, I really think I was being too conceited, but because of this experience, I was able to write a song that touches people.” thanks more details: Cryptocurrency Promotion Campaign
